Meet your Nurse
Hi! I’m Roseanna.
I have been a Registered Nurse for 23 years. Most of my experience has been spent caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions in acute care settings. Over the years, I saw how chronic illness, can slowly erode quality of life long before a true crisis happens.
What I didn’t see enough of was support for the root drivers: inflammation, blood sugar instability, chronic stress, nutrient depletion, gut health, and nervous system overload.
That realization changed the direction of my career.
My Work Is Personal
For the past 18 years, I’ve managed diabetes through intentional lifestyle strategies: nutrition, movement, stress regulation, and consistent self-care. Sixteen years ago, I was diagnosed with lupus and have navigated autoimmune flares firsthand.
Living with autoimmune disease taught me what textbooks don’t:
The exhaustion that doesn’t show up on labs
The frustration of “normal” test results when you don’t feel normal
The unpredictability of flares
The grief of not recognizing your own body
It also taught me that the immune system is deeply influenced by daily inputs: what we eat, how we sleep, how we handle stress, how stable our blood sugar is, and how supported our nervous system feels.
Through intentional lifestyle shifts and complementary strategies, I’ve been able to reduce flares and build resilience. I am not anti-medication. For many people, medication is an essential and appropriate part of autoimmune treatment. But I also know that medication alone often isn’t the whole picture.
Autoimmune conditions are complex. They deserve a comprehensive approach.
How I Support You
At Adventure Ready Wellness, I focus on helping individuals with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions:
Calm chronic inflammation
Improve metabolic and blood sugar stability
Support gut health and nutrient status
Strengthen stress resilience
Reduce flare frequency and severity
Sometimes your body needs the basics:
Real, anti-inflammatory food
Restorative sleep
Gentle, strategic movement
Nervous system support
Sometimes it needs deeper investigation.
Either way, my goal is the same: to help you understand what your body is asking for and to build a sustainable foundation that supports immune balance long term.
Because autoimmune disease may be part of your story, but it doesn’t have to define your capacity to live fully.
You deserve to feel strong, capable, and ready for adventure again.
