Meet your Nurse
Hi! I’m Roseanna.
I’ve been a Registered Nurse for 23 years, primarily in acute care, working with patients with complex cardiac conditions. I’ve seen what happens when health is managed reactively-when people arrive at a crisis after years of gradual decline.
What struck me most was this:
Many were on multiple medications… and still not well.
Symptoms were being managed, but true health wasn’t being restored.
And very little attention was given to prevention, longevity, or addressing the underlying reasons the body was struggling in the first place.
That realization changed everything for me.
My Work Is Personal
For the past 18 years, I’ve managed diabetes through intentional lifestyle strategies. Sixteen years ago, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and have experienced flares firsthand.
I followed the conventional path.
But like many people, I found that medications alone didn’t fully resolve what I was dealing with, and no one was guiding me toward other ways to support my body.
I was left to figure that out on my own.
So I did.
I began exploring nutrition, metabolic health, nervous system regulation, alternative therapies, and root-cause approaches. I shifted my focus away from simply managing symptoms and toward supporting how my body actually functions.
Not just to feel better, but to stay well long term.
That shift changed everything.
Living this way taught me:
That you can be “treated” and still feel unwell
That more medication isn’t always the answer
That the body has the capacity to improve when given the right inputs
That longevity is built through daily habits, not prescriptions alone
Through consistent lifestyle changes and targeted support, I’ve been able to reduce flares, improve stability, and build a more resilient, adaptable body.
I believe medication has its place.
But I also believe many people are overmedicated, under-supported, and never shown how much control they actually have over their long-term health.
How I Support You
At Adventure Ready Wellness, I work with people who are ready to move beyond symptom management and take a more proactive, alternative approach to their health.
This is about more than feeling slightly better.
It’s about building a body that functions well, ages well, and supports you for the long term.
Together, we focus on:
Reducing chronic inflammation
Improving blood sugar and metabolic health
Supporting gut health and nutrient status
Balancing hormones and regulating the stress response
Decreasing autoimmune flare frequency
Prioritizing longevity, prevention, and overall health optimization
This approach is rooted in supporting the body.
Sometimes that means simplifying:
Eating real, nutrient-dense food
Prioritizing sleep and recovery
Moving your body with intention
Sometimes it means going deeper and identifying what’s been overlooked.
But the goal is always the same:
To help you rely less on constantly managing symptoms, and more on building a body that is strong, resilient, and capable.
Because true health isn’t just about avoiding disease.
It’s about maintaining energy, function, and independence for years to come.
It’s about longevity.
And it’s about living a life where your body supports you, not holds you back.
